Dr Brian Griffiths: When the vessel's docked in Hobart, we've got a lot of work to do to finalise equipment installation that couldn't be done in Singapore, because of the very specialised nature of the equipment.

And then there will be a period of scientific sea trials where we will be training both the crew and the scientists coming on-board to ensure that we establish safe working practices and procedures for deploying and recovering the various scientific equipment.
