Supporting the protection and growth of global fruit and vegetable exports.
Eighteen billion dollars worth of fruit and vegetables in global export markets are constantly at threat from fruit fly outbreaks. An equivalent value of fruit and vegetable global exports would be enabled with more effective fruit fly monitoring and surveillance measures.
RapidAIM is a service providing real-time detection and image notification of fruit fly using wireless trapping technology.
This immediate data-driven decision service will allow biosecurity agencies to respond immediately to fruit fly detection, thereby allowing for protection of existing markets and supporting the development of new trading opportunities.
