BSc (Extended) eligibility requirements

There are a number of eligibility requirements. Students will have access to the full range of opportunities available in the Bachelor of Science (BSc) – including opportunities for: study abroad and exchange; scholarships, awards and prizes; volunteering and leadership opportunities; as well as career opportunities such as internships.

What are the eligibility requirements?

To be eligible for the Bachelor of Science (Extended), you must:

  • be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent
  • have completed Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), or an interstate equivalent with an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 50 or above
  • have satisfactorily completed biology, chemistry, physics or mathematics to at least Year 11 level, and English at Year 12 level
  • demonstrate the potential to succeed in tertiary science study.

All eligible applicants will be required to attend an interview.
