Celebrate World Food Day with us to teach your students about where their food comes from and why we shouldn't waste it.

The CSIRO Sustainable Futures education program is working with our program sponsor, Bayer, to celebrate World Food Day on Monday 17 October to coincide with the launch of our new education resource Feeding a Hungry Planet.

We’ve got some fun and inspiring student activities, a photo competition with some great prizes, and the opportunity for your school to participate in local and national newspaper and TV coverage.

Why get involved?

  • Teach your students about the science behind food sustainability
  • Promote your school and your work nationally and locally
  • Recognise and reward students for their efforts

To access the full Feeding a Hungry Planet resource and our other education plans, register for the Sustainable Futures program today.
