  • Australian Capital Territory locations

    In Canberra our Acton, Crace and Yarralumla sites will be consolidated and moved to our Black Mountain Campus. For more information, see our Global Precincts strategy.

  • New South Wales locations

    In NSW CSIRO has several sites in Sydney and multiple regional locations where we carry out research.

  • Northern Territory locations

    We have CSIRO sites in Alice Springs and Darwin where one focus is Northern Australia from the tropical top end to the central arid and semi-arid zones.

  • Queensland locations

    From Brisbane to North Queensland we have several sites located across Queensland. Several of these are integrated with research hubs such as universities, allowing our researchers to collaborate easily with other institutions.

  • South Australian locations

    We have several CSIRO locations in Adelaide integrated with research hubs, including our nutrition and health research clinic.

  • Tasmanian locations

    Our Tasmanian sites are all located in Hobart. We focus on marine and atmospheric research in Tasmania, but also span other areas such as technology.

  • Victorian locations

    We have several sites in Melbourne and regional Victoria where we carry out research. In Melbourne our Highett site will move to Clayton. For more information, see our Global Precincts strategy.

  • Western Australian locations

    Our sites in WA range from Perth research precincts to remote observatories.

  • International locations

    We have researchers working in Chile and France. In Chile we focus on the mining and mineral industries and in France we are part of an agricultural research precinct.
