We work closely with the Australian Government and our senior scientists provide high-level scientific advice to government and industry.

Our science underpins many national standards and guidelines and provides information for decision making and policy development.

Research partnerships with academic institutions extend across many countries.

We welcome researchers from other countries and our staff visit other countries and institutions on secondment, specific exchange programs, and as part of development opportunities and contributions to international research projects.

We also have strong internal linkages with other CSIRO Divisions and Flagships to deliver multidisciplinary solutions to our clients.

Some of our collaboration tools include:

  • Australian Soil Resource Information System (ASRIS)
  • GlobalSoilMap.net
  • Australian Collaborative Land Evaluation Program (ACLEP)
  • Australian National Data Service (ANDS)
  • Connect.csiro.au
