CSIRO’s Food, Health and Life Science Industries Group is one of five research groups within CSIRO. The group aims to deliver sustainable productivity growth and value to food and fibre production in support of the economy, the environment and the health of Australians, achieved through scientific excellence in the biological and food sciences and their application to creating profound impact across the agricultural value chain, health, biosecurity and life science industries.
In association with other CSIRO groups and a wide variety of research and development partners and collaborators, the FHLSI group delivers through four national research flagships and two research divisions:
