About the event

Whether you enjoy making slime or making dinosaur footprints, the Experiment-a-thon is the place to be this National Science Week (16–24 August).

CSIRO brings together the region's major science and educational organisations for a full day of family fun.

The Experiment-a-thon will link with other National Science Week events in the Black Mountain precinct, and offer special tours of CSIRO's collections and other science facilities.

The CSIRO Discovery café will be open all day serving coffees and hot meals.

The Experiment-a-thon has attracted thousands of people annually, so if your school or community organisation is interested in taking part, please contact email us at info.discovery@csiro.au or call 02 6246 4646.
