CSIRO Education provides innovative and engaging science programs to schools around New South Wales. We aim to engage, enthuse and educate students, teachers and the wider community about science and its applications. 

School programs

Our hands-on science classes and shows can visit your school with activities and demonstrations for all school levels. We also run Early Learners programs for 3-5 year olds.

Scientists in Schools

Students and teachers can participate in a range of hands-on science programs in New South Wales.

Scientists in Schools is a learning experience that allows scientists and schools to work together across Australia in flexible, professional partnerships.

CSIRO Education in New South Wales provides support to local Scientists in Schools partnerships.

Science events and activities

We run a range of events and holiday programs for members of CSIRO's Double Helix Science Club and other children in New South Wales.

You can also book a scientist for hands-on entertainment and learning at birthday parties around Sydney.
