We also talk to CSIRO climate modeller, Dr Jack Katzfey who is working on detailed models that not only look at future climate change scenarios for Australia, but are also being applied to neighbouring countries sharing strong similarities with northern Australian climate conditions such as Indonesia.
Dr Katzfey is heavily involved in the collaborative work being undertaken by Australian and Indonesian climate scientists to develop suitable country-based responses to changing climate scenarios.
