CSIRO are seeking participants for an international survey that seeks to understand differences in cultural attitudes and consumer trends regarding meat purchasing, preparation and consumption in different countries

About the survey

CSIRO is participating in an international survey led by the National University of Central Buenos Aires (UNCPBA), Argentina, to understand differences in cultural attitudes and consumer trends regarding meat purchasing, preparation and consumption in different countries. The same survey will be conducted in other countries including Argentina, Brazil, Canada and Denmark, through universities and research organisations.

The survey will be conducted online and will involve around 10 minutes of your time. The input from Australian consumers will be considered in an international context. The data may be useful to inform the local meat industry of Australian and international consumer trends, and may be of benefit to consumers.

Participation criteria

You can take part in the survey if:

  • you are 21-61 years of age
  • you are a regular consumer of red and other meats
  • you are a regular purchaser of red and other meats
  • you consent to filling in an online multiple choice survey requiring approximately 10 minutes of your time.
