CSIRO’s response to second volume of IPCC report

The second volume of the IPCC’s 4th 'Climate Change 2007' Assessment Report has been handed down in Brussels, looking at 'Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability'.

It provides a comprehensive analysis of how climate change is affecting natural and human systems, what the impacts will be in the future and how far adaptation and mitigation can reduce these impacts.

The second volume contains a chapter on the impact of climate change on Australia.

In this four and a half minute podcast, Dr Chris Mitchell from CSIRO’s Marine and Atmospheric Research Division, gives an overview of the implications of the findings.
