Scientists from CSIRO’s Marine and Atmospheric Research Division have found carbon dioxide rates are accelerating, indicating that fossil fuels are having an impact on greenhouse gas concentrations in a way not seen before.

Dr Mike Raupach and Dr Paul Fraser have presented their findings during the annual science meeting at Tasmania’s Cape Grim Baseline Air Pollution Station.

Mr Bill Stephens from CSIRO Media spoke to Dr Raupach about the research and what it means for the environment.
