Industry to benefit from Flagship funding

The Light Metals Flagship has received a tremendous boost and expression of support from the Australian Government, with the announcement of an additional $305 million for all six National Research Flagships over the next seven years.

Dr Tony Filmer, Program Director of the Light Metals Flagship, believes CSIRO’s additional funding for the Flagships will enable acceleration in those programs aimed at ensuring ongoing international competitiveness of our industry.
