Flagship Advisory CommitteeThe Wealth from Oceans Flagship Advisory Committee (FAC) convened for its second meeting on 5 November 2004 where members reviewed the Flagship strategies and scientific direction, providing valuable insights and feedback. The FAC has been established to provide strategic guidance and advice on key Flagship research activities, assist in identifying opportunities for portfolio additions and input about the future directions for the Flagship. The Wealth from Oceans FAC is chaired by Professor Russell Reichelt, CEO Reef Cooperative Research Centre. FAC members include: Dr Wendy Craik, CEO Murray-Darling Basin Commission; Dr Katherine Woodthorpe, People & Innovation Corporate Advisers Pty Ltd (Chair ACE CRC); Mr Bob Stribling, ANZ Investment Bank; Dr Conall O’Connell, Deputy Secretary, Department of Environment and Heritage; Dr Geoff Love, CEO Australian Bureau of Meteorology and Commodore Geoff J Geraghty RAN, Australian Navy Systems Commander. Ex-officio members of the Committee attending this meeting included Dr Greg Ayers of Atmospheric Research representing the Chair of CSIRO Environment and Natural Resources, Dr Steve Morton and the Director of the Wealth from Oceans Flagship, Mr Craig Roy.
