The Preventative Health Flagship recently joined a national roadshow promoting CSIRO innovation to more than 600 of Australia’s senior business leaders.

The CSIRO National Industry Roadshow previewed new technologies for the health, food, manufacturing, ICT, transport, energy, minerals, oil and gas and infrastructure sectors though a series of hospitality events in Australian capital city throughout August and September.

Adelaide was the fist city to host the event on August 4, which featured recent CSIRO innovations including using bubbles for medical diagnostics and yarns made from sub-microscopic fibres.

Guest speaker at the Adelaide event was Director of Engineering and Product Assurance at BAE Systems Australia, Dr Lincoln Wood.

Flagship Director Dr Richard Head also represented the Preventative Health Flagship at the Melbourne event, held on August 11. The events, which were also held in Brisbane, Sydney, and Perth, generated more than 70 direct business development requests.
