Three people in a business meeting

We’re building networks with the ICT industry, education sector and research organisations.

Doing business with CSIRO ICT Centre

We seek paths to adoption for our research outcomes and opportunities to transfer our technology to Australian industry.

  • 19 July 2011 | Updated 14 October 2011

The ICT Centre is CSIRO's hub for innovative information and communication technologies (ICT) research.

Our research addresses areas of national priority in such areas as: water, energy, mining, health and service industries.

We aim for our science to deliver benefit for Australia and have impact world-wide.

We achieve this through our partnerships.

Partnering with us

We work through:

  • consultancies – giving you access to our diverse range of knowledge and research skills.
  • contract research – a simple way to access our scientific expertise and specialist facilities.
  • licensing – ranging from exclusive to nonexclusive, Australia-only to worldwide depending on how the technology will be used, the licensee and potential market value.
  • partnering and co-investment – there are a number of models through which we may explore mutual interests.
  • equity and spin-offs – CSIRO has spun off more than 150 companies, over 20 of which are publicly listed.
