ElectroSpin 2010: International conference on Electrospinning

On behalf of the Organising Committee, we invite you to join us in Melbourne at ElectroSpin 2010 the first International conference devoted to Electrospinning.

The Conference is to be held at The Langham Melbourne located in the Southbank precinct of Melbourne, Australia, from the 26th to 29th January 2010.

This inaugural conference will focus on the latest developments in electrospinning for life sciences and material sciences with a particular focus on theory, practice and applications.

The conference promises to be an exciting event with invited speakers including:

Dr Il-Doo Kim: Senior Research Scientist from the Center for Energy Materials Research at Korea Institute of Science and Technology
Professor Seeram Ramakrishna: Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Bioengineering at the National University of Singapore
Professor Joachim Wendorff: Professorial Chair in Physical Chemistry and Macromolecular Physics at the Philipps University Marburg, Germany.

Weather-wise January is a great time to be in Melbourne. We advise to book accommodation early because the conference coincides with the Australian Tennis Open.

Southbank is Melbourne’s central entertainment precinct located on the Yarra River opposite central Melbourne and approximately 20 minutes from Melbourne Airport by shuttle bus.
