The Warrego region, the first in a series of regions being assessed in the MDB.

Warrego, CSIRO Murray-Darling Basin Sustainable Yields Project

The Warrego is the first in a series of regions being assessed as part of the CSIRO Murray-Darling Basin Sustainable Yields Project.

The Warrego is located predominantly in Queensland and forms the northern edge of the Murray-Darling Basin (MDB).

It covers seven per cent of the Basin and contributes less than one percent of inflows to the Basin.
