The Centre for Distributed Energy and Power (CenDEP) was an alliance of organisations that had the goal of providing a technical and commercial focus for Distributed Energy so that it became a viable, important part of the Australian energy market.
The Centre for Distributed Energy and Power has closed.
The Centre set out on its mission in 2002 to promote Distributed Energy (DE) in the Australian energy market, to inform the policy debate and promote the development and demonstration of innovative Australian solutions in the field of DE.
CenDEP officially concluded operations at the end of the 2008-09 financial year.
CSIRO will, of course, continue its strong research focus on low emission distributed energy and, on a wider front, in smart grids.
If you have any questions about CenDEP, please don’t hesitate to contact Mr Terry Jones at Terry.Jones@csiro.au.
