As Group Executive, Energy, Dr Beverley Ronalds is focused on providing quality research and technology-based industrial solutions to the rapidly evolving needs of the energy sector.
Current activities
Dr Beverley Ronalds was appointed Group Executive, Energy in July 2007.
She was also Chief of CSIRO Petroleum Resources from May 2003 to December 2009, prior to its amalgamation with CSIRO Exploration and Mining to form the new Division CSIRO Earth Science and Resource Engineering.
Through alliances with other research and industry organisations, Dr Ronalds is facilitating the deployment of world-class research and development efforts to meet Australia's energy challenges.

Dr Ronalds' career has spanned teaching, research and the application of research to solve industry problems.
Dr Ronalds manages CSIRO's energy research with an annual research budget of $140 million.
Former Foundation Director and also the Woodside Chair with The University of Western Australia's School of Oil and Gas Engineering, Dr Ronalds’ research interests include:
Dr Ronalds also has industry experience in design, installation and operations support for fixed and floating offshore platforms, in the Australian North West Shelf, the North Sea and the Gulf of Mexico.
She has worked at Hardcastle and Richards in Melbourne, Victoria, Ove Arup in London, and Kvaerner Earl and Wright in London and San Francisco.
