Current activities
Dr Graham Bonnett leads the Advancing Agriculture and Environmental Health research theme.
His personal research interests are in understanding the ecology and reproductive biology of sugarcane in order to identify and manage potential risks of genetically modified sugarcane.

- Doctor of Philosophy, also from The University of Leeds, 1989.
His doctoral studies focused on the mobilisation of stem reserves in barley.
