The Ecosciences Precinct supports CSIRO's ongoing commitment to research and development in promoting industry profitability, managing Australia's unique ecosystems, adapting to climate change, ensuring biosecurity and improving human health.
The Ecosciences Precinct will house more than 250 CSIRO staff from research Divisions and National Research Flagships who will work on some of the most pressing science challenges facing Australia.

The CSIRO facilities include modern research laboratories, offices, field operation support areas and glasshouse facilities, all of which will be shared amongst participating CSIRO and State agencies.
CSIRO's co-location with Queensland Government agencies and other organisations at the Ecosciences Precinct represents a significant boost to the future of Australian science.
The Precinct has been designed with environmental sustainability in mind. The facilities contain materials of proven sustainable manufacture, together with various energy and water conservation initiatives to minimise the impact on the environment.
There is provision for 27 emergency car parking spaces, 31 motorcycle parks and 200 bicycle spaces.
The Ecosciences Precinct is located on Boggo Road, off Annerley Road in Dutton Park, behind the old Boggo Road Gaol.
