The science of discussing climate change

Dr Paul Fraser argues in Melbourne's The Age newspaper that science is best debated through a peer-reviewed publication process.

Following the release of the report of the Intergovernment Panel on Climate Change in January 2007, Melbourne, Dr Paul Fraser, Chief Research Scientist with CSIRO's Marine and Atmospheric Research Division, wrote the attached article, The science of discussing climate change in The Age  newspaper which was published on 5 February 2007.

In this article Dr Fraser indicates that although it is 'prudent to question and test the science of climate change' and acknowledges that this is a 'major process that requires robust scientific debate', that none the less, the findings of the Intergovernmental Panel challenges the assertions of an earlier article written by Dr Len Walker, titled Cool heads required on global warming.
