Scientriffic magazine for ages 7+ is one of two magazines produced by CSIRO’s Double Helix Science Club. It is published every two months and is packed with science news, feature articles, hands-on experiments, comics, competitions and brain-bending puzzles.
Scientriffic is available by joining CSIRO’s Double Helix Science Club, or at selected newsagents Australia-wide.
Scientriffic is extremely popular with lower to middle primary students (seven years old and above), and is an excellent way to introduce kids to science. As they get older, they may wish to move on to The Helix: a science magazine for ages 10+.

Learn about some amazing animals in this issue of Scientriffic. Read about the gross habits of vultures, the brains of bees, and thorny devils that use their whole spiky body to collect drinking water.
Have you heard stories about fake Moon landings, the end of the world, and how Mars will soon be as big as a full moon? It’s not always easy to work out what’s real and what isn’t. Scientriffic will help you investigate the science that separates fact from fiction.
