CSIRO celebrates green innovation for World IP Day

World Intellectual Property (IP) Day, 26 April 2009, is an opportunity to reflect on the value of human innovation and consider the important roles of IP in our lives.

World IP Day is an initiative of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPOexternal link) and is celebrated in many countries, including Australia. This year’s focus is on promoting green innovation as a key to a secure future.

As part of its commitment to the environment and improving Australia’s prosperity, quality of life and sustainable future, CSIRO works extensively in the green innovation space and has a strong IP portfolio in this area.
