| | Synopsis |
| | In the sixties a generation emerged ready to question authority, |
| | they used jeans, rock music, demonstrations and the famous two |
| | finger "Up Yours" salute. Now investigation has shown that the |
| | two finger salute had more to do with Henry V, than with the |
| | Vietnam War. |
| | |
| | It all goes back to the battle of Agincourt. The English army was |
| | in trouble, it only had six thousand men, who were in poor |
| | condition due to hunger, sickness and dysentery. The French |
| | had a well rested army of fifty thousand - almost ten time larger, |
| | but the French army had no archers. The English army was full |
| | of experienced Bow and Arrow shooters, using the latest in |
| | weapons technology… the Welsh Longbow. |
| | |
| | Karl Kruszelnicki travels back in time to show us how the effects |
| | of fifteenth century weapons technology are still very much a part |
| | of our lives today. |
