The CSIRO Library Network's mission is to contribute to CSIRO's vision through the provision of collaborative and cooperative information services including:

utilising Network members' knowledge of client needs and of information sources

assessing and implementing new technologies to enhance use of information.
CSIRO’s Library Network provides collaborative and cooperative information services.
The CSIRO Library Network consists of:

a network of libraries, providing information services to staff from one or more CSIRO Divisions or business unit

Collection Resources Support which:

a technical infrastructure supported by CSIRO IT.
The primary clients of the CSIRO Library Network are CSIRO scientists and other staff attached to the relevant Division or site.
