The Indigenous STEM Education Project is working across Australia to promote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participation in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Our engagement

The Indigenous STEM Education project has engaged over 159 schools, 533 teachers and 7,264 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students across remote, regional and urban Australia since 2015. From remote WA to the suburbs of Brisbane to regional NSW, the six program elements have worked with primary, secondary and university students to positively engage with science, technology, engineering and mathematics within an Indigenous cultural context.

We also recognise and reward the contribution of high achieving schools, students and STEM professionals.
