    Dr John Manners brings his long-held experience of research leadership at CSIRO to the Executive Team. Born in London, Dr Manners completed a PhD in biochemistry before coming to Australia for an academic post. He joined CSIRO in 1985 and has led research in biotechnology and plant improvement before taking up his current role. Dr Manners has published more than 200 refereed research journal articles.
