About the placement
As a paid Chamberlain intern, you will join their team and take on exciting projects that will make a big impact on their business. The position is for a Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering undergraduate, and you will drive and execute on projects that add immense value to Chamberlain's team and the wider organisation.
This internship is with Chamberlain Group and is facilitated by the CSIRO's Generation STEM Links program.
This internship offers you a unique opportunity to work on exciting projects and make a real impact while developing your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will collaborate with the engineering team to understand project requirements and objectives, utilising your 3D CAD skills, particularly Solidworks, to create detailed product designs, assist in the development of product design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports, participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute to the design process, and gain exposure to the entire product development lifecycle while working on projects that have a real-world impact.
Work arrangements
- Start date: 13th January, 2025
- Working arrangement: Part time for a minimum of 200 hours on a fixed term contract over an 8-week period.
- Remuneration: $25/hour on a temporary contract with Chamberlain
- Location: Somersby, NSW

- Studying a Bachelor's degree in mechanical or mechatronic engineering

- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, especially Solidworks
