About the placement
During the placement, you will work in a bottling/beverage manufacturing environment where they will learn how to operate multiple automated manufacturing machines/equipment. Machines will require you to learn a number of high-level inputs to control factors such as speed and air-pressure to ensure correct operation and that the end products meet specifications.
You will learn across a number of machines such as the filler, labeller and carton former machines, with training and mentoring from a senior engineer along the way. This is an opportunity to view the process of product manufacture from early stages to final product.
You will have an opportunity to learn how to operate engineering equipment directly in industry and how these skills are applicable in the beverage/bottling manufacturing sector. There is also an opportunity to gain full-time employment after the placement.
Work arrangements
- Start date: February
- Working arrangement: Part Time Contract: at least $25/hour on a temporary contract United Beverage Co.
- Location: Unanderra, NSW

- Must be studying engineering
- Must have transferable skills to manufacturing.
Requirements
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- Must be in your penultimate or final year of an undergraduate qualification.
