About the placement

This internship is with Zoetis Australia and is facilitated by the CSIRO's Generation STEM Links program.

Zoetis, the worlds leading animal health company is looking for an intern to join their team. The role will involve working between the veterinary and IT team to help migrate and synthesize internal training modules. An understanding of veterinary science would be an advantage in understanding, synthesizing and reorganising information.

While the responsibilities may have a routine aspect, this role provides an invaluable opportunity to delve into the intricacies of a pharmaceutical company and foster professional connections.

Work arrangements

  • Start date: Mid/Late June, 2024
  • Working arrangement: Full time (over mid semester break) or Part time for 200 hours on a fixed term contract, with the possibility for further employment for the right candidate
  • Remuneration: $25/hour plus super on a temporary contract with Zoetis Australia
  • Location: Rhodes, NSW

Desired capabilities

  • Studying a veterinary science or other relevant degree
  • Fundamental understanding of computer systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Requirements

  • Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Must be in your penultimate or final year of an undergraduate or TAFE qualification.
