About our guest speaker
Shane Wilson is a dedicated principal with 27 years of teaching and leadership experience. As the principal at Marble Bar Primary School, he was named as an Australian Schools Plus Teaching Fellow as well as a Commonwealth Bank Teaching Award Fellow.
The school’s STEM program was recognised at the 2021 Governor's School STEM Awards. Marble Bar's Virtual Worlds project collected accolades including the Asia-Pacific ICT Award for the Public Sector Digital Government category, the WA Innovating Government ICT Initiative of the Year and Chevron Australia’s Science Engagement Initiative of the Year.
