AgCatalyst MC Bernie Hobbs speaking: AgCatalyst is like no other sciencey event. It’s always really entertaining. Really creative. Really out of the box.

Steven McInnes, PiqueGlobal speaking: It’s dynamic, it’s engaging. You bring people together and actually make connections. You find out what CSIRO’s doing. And especially Ag and Food – they’re so innovative in their approach.

Dr Michael Robertson, CSIRO Agriculture and Food Director speaking: We’re putting on show the diversity of our people who are working in research and development. It’s a fantastic way for CSIRO staff to meet our external world – our collaborators, our partners, our customers.

Raquel Said, Nutri V speaking: It’s a wonderful opportunity for small businesses like ours to be seen in a different forum; a different marketplace.

Dr Jeff Cumpston, Grains Research and Development Corporation speaking: It’s been so educational to see what CSIRO’s doing and how it applies to some of our investments, but also what we’re doing internally at GRDC to try to manage our investments better.

Milly Coman, CSIRO SME Connect speaking: It makes it really casual so you can have honest conversations and be yourself. It cuts down to the person underneath, so I think it has a really good vibe – it’s really well organised.

Dr Aarti Tobin, CSIRO Food Materials Scientist speaking: I think it’s a really great place to come and to see a lot of the science in Agriculture and Food that’s happening, and you get to talk to the scientists one-on-one, right?
