CSIRO is holding its popular, energetic and free AgCatalyst event again in 2021. Discover what we're working on nationally and regionally to prepare our agriculture and food sectors for a challenging future.

With ongoing uncertainty in relation to COVID-19, and its impact on travel and large events, we have decided to postpone AgCatalyst until 22-23 November 2021. Your health and safety is our number one concern.

Registrations will open as soon as we can confirm this will go ahead.

AgCatalyst virtual event

In the meantime, join our next event in the virtual AgCatalyst series:

What will your dinner look like in 20 years’ time? More and more, consumers are seeking food that is healthy, sustainable and convenient. Join us for a snapshot tour of research into future sources of protein, new food processing techniques and technologies to verify our food really is what it says on the packaging.

Our experts and partners will come to you live from the field to discuss what they are doing to prepare for the future of food.

Like all AgCatalyst events, come prepared for some fun and surprises. Register here

AgCatalyst 2021: Facing the future

22-23 November 2021

Luna Park, Milsons Point Sydney

There'll be plenty of action in Sydney! We expect over 600 people to attend in Sydney plus many more regionally, including from businesses, investors, peak industry bodies, producer groups, research funders and providers, and policy makers.

AgCatalyst will showcase cutting edge work with partners, nationally and regionally, to prepare our agriculture and food sectors for a challenging future; from building drought and climate resilience to meeting consumer demands for foods of the future.

What's in store for AgCatalyst 2021:

  • Cocktail function on the evening of Monday 22 November overlooking Sydney Harbour.
  • Networking breakfast just prior the event starting in Sydney on Tuesday 23 November.
  • Dynamic exhibition area showcasing research to prepare us for the future.
  • Science pitches of new and inspiring research from CSIRO's bright young minds.
