Bring Bebras to life with CSIRO's STEM Professionals in Schools Program

CyberTaipan Competition and CyberCamp at Wyndham Tech School

We're offering a limited number of Bebras Coordinators the opportunity to partner with a computer science or digital technologies professional.

Take Bebras a step further with an industry partnership facilitated by CSIRO's STEM Professionals in Schools program.

Connect Bebras Computational Thinking to the real world

This year the CSIRO STEM Professionals in Schools team has joined with the Bebras program to showcase to students how concepts covered in the Bebras challenge are applied in the real world.

Industry professionals provide authentic, real-world examples of future career options. These partnerships are designed to help students engage with and feel passionate about technology-based careers.

Currently, we are extending the opportunity to join this program to teachers who are participating in the Bebras program.

What does a Bebras Partnership look like?

This is up to the individuals involved!

The STEM professionals in Schools team have extensive experience facilitating partnerships. The team recognises the demands placed on teacher's time and resources. We are determined to support teachers throughout the journey to ensure these partnerships are a value add to the classroom.

Some examples of how partnerships can work are, career talks, hands-on activities, virtual tours, incursions, excursions etc. There are also options for virtual partnerships.
