Sneak Peak at STEM Together

Register for STEMspiration announcements

CSIRO's new program STEM Together offers tailored opportunities for Year 5-10 students who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, female, from regional areas, and/or lower socio-educational advantage areas. From next month, nominate a curious student or supporter for a chance to design their own STEM experience. Educators are encouraged to sign-up for events, toolkits and teaching resources to connect your class to real-world STEM. Powered by CSIRO and the BHP Foundation.

Generation STEM Expands!

Generation STEM students showcase

In 2023, Generation STEM will continue to widen its reach to inspire more students across NSW. Part of this growth includes the recent expansion of the STEM Community Partnerships Program to Year 7 and 8 students and its launch in Queanbeyan- Palerang and Yass Valley.

Generation STEM programs also operate in the Illawarra-Shoalhaven region, Central Coast, Moree and in the Central West region. Generation STEM Links has expanded to include all NSW-based businesses/organisation.

This year, Deadly in Generation STEM will introduce the I2S2 program to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge through hands-on inquiry-based projects, increasing student engagement and achievement in STEM.

The Globe Program

CSIRO's global online science program
