Citizen science in action: A wild success for young explorers!

Thank you for being part of CSIRO Wild Watch, our first national science experiment made for young explorers. You were part of the 2,840 people who registered, supporting 47,916 young people to engage in biodiversity citizen science this National Science week.

During National Science Week, the CSIRO Wild Watch project recorded 4,475 observations on iNaturalist, covering 1,436 species. Congratulations to those who won our competition - your prize packs will be coming shortly.

Caught the citizen science bug?

The CSIRO Wild Watch Project will remain open in iNaturalist until 29 August, so there is still time to upload your observations from National Science Week. After this you will still be able to access our resources and run your own biodiversity blitz in iNaturalist any time you like.
