Accelerate 8: Save the Date for Showcase!

Get ready to celebrate 10 new deep-tech ventures! ON Accelerate 8 is at the mid-way point, and our latest cohort have been busy building their ventures from the ground up with hands-on learning, personalised coaching and investor engagement. Join us on June 5 in Melbourne to network, connect and hear from the teams firsthand about their progress and potential. This is an invite-only event, with limited spots! ON's Prime Time Event – Networking Roadshow

Calling all Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra ON Alumni – ON Prime is coming to you in June and July! This special networking roadshow is an opportunity for our ON Alumni and wider ecosystem to come together, celebrate and share their wisdom with our ON Prime 15 cohort. These entrepreneurial researchers have spent 9 weeks pressure-testing their ideas and this is an opportunity to support their growth. Interested in attending? Let us know!

ON Alumni: We need your help

The ON program is undertaking an independent review to assess our impact, and areas for improvement. To keep doing what we do, we need your help to demonstrate the difference ON has made to you. ON Alumni have been invited to participate via email with a link to a survey. Sharing your ON experience will help us continue to offer free programs to validate, explore and build your big ideas. The survey will remain open until 11:59pm AEST on April 24th. If you are ON Alumni and unsure if you’ve received a link to the survey, contact the ON team at ON@csiro.au

_SOUTHSTART Wrap-Up

Adelaide recently hosted _SOUTHSTART, a festival for founders, investors, and innovators. ON Program and Kick-Start Alumni Rainstick shared their story of blending traditional Indigenous wisdom with modern science. 77 Partners Venture Program:

Missed joining ON Accelerate? Join the 77 Venture Challenge! It's a 12-week program for early-stage ventures in Queensland focused on frontier tech like AI, IoT, and more. If you have a pilot product or recently entered priority sectors like agriculture or manufacturing, applications now open.

Remarkable Accelerator:

Do you have an innovative idea in Disability Tech? The Remarkable Accelerator is a 16-week program designed for tech start-ups focused on disability. Gain access to seed funding, coaches, mentors, and the know-how to grow into successful, positive-impact businesses. Start-ups must clearly benefit people with disabilities, directly or indirectly, which could include disability, health, or aging innovations. Read more about the Remarkable Accelerator.

Cicada x Tech 23:

Cicada is searching for Australia's most promising emerging deep tech ventures. They want to give 23 promising Australian ideas/ventures a national platform to share their vision and ambition. Kicking-off on 7 August in Sydney, Cicada x Tech 23 is for ideas still in the lab to scaling start-up; making radical innovation a reality. Get involved in Cicada x Tech23 2024 and find out more.

Industry PhD Program EOI!

Partner with CSIRO Industry PhD and link a student with a research project solving real-world problems. Apply for the Industry PhD program 2024 round two EOI, open from 20 April - 23 August.
