RISE Accelerator program now open for applications

Get ready to RISE

The India Australia RISE Accelerator provides support to startups and small-to-mid sized enterprises (SMEs) who are working on science-backed technology and are considering overseas expansion between India and Australia.

The nine-month accelerator program enables Australian and Indian innovators and industry partners to tackle shared national and global challenges.

Startups and SMEs developing innovative business models, technologies, and/or resource ingenuity to support India's and Australia’s transition to a circular economy are encouraged to apply to participate in the first round.

The program will help you to navigate early steps in a new region, validate and adapt technology and research overseas, fast-track connections to the right partners, customers and talent, and build credibility to succeed in international markets.

The program will be delivered virtually, with a number of opportunities to travel between Australia and India.

There is no charge to participate in the program, and startups may also be eligible for non-equity grants. Non-equity grants will be up to A$75,000 for Australian organisations, or INR 4 million for Indian organisations.

RISE Accelerator is delivered through a powerful partnership between CSIRO – Australia's national science agency and Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog – the Government of India's flagship initiative to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the country.
