RISE Accelerator program now open for applications

The India Australia RISE Accelerator supports startups and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) working on science-backed technology and considering overseas expansion between India and Australia.

Our Climate Smart Agritech round is now open to Indian and Australian startups and SMEs with innovative technologies and solutions that address critical agricultural production challenges, and prioritise farmer needs and on-farm practices.

The program will help you navigate early steps in a new region, validate and adapt your technology and research overseas, fast-track connections to the right partners and customers, and build credibility to succeed in international markets.

Over nine months, the accelerator offers a comprehensive learning program that includes online self-paced and in-person sessions, along with opportunities to travel between India and Australia.

There is no charge to participate in the program, and startups may also be eligible for non-equity grants of up to A$75,000 for Australian organisations or INR 4.5 million for Indian organisations.

The RISE Accelerator is delivered through a powerful partnership between CSIRO, Australia's national science agency, and Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog – the Government of India's flagship initiative to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.
