What happened?
The old sign in portal was replaced in March 2022. Existing clients will need to reset their password and have a mobile phone to receive sign in authentication notifications.
Why did this happen?
Due to changing technologies, CSIRO Education & Outreach needed to change the way we store and manage data. This means we needed to move to an Australian, cloud-based storage system. This new system provides our clients with an easier, more secure way to sign into our systems and update your details when required.

What you need to do
Existing CSIRO Education & Outreach Portal Clients
As an existing user, signing in to the new portal for the first time after the upgrade, you will need to reset your password.
Your email address you use to sign in should be the same as the email listed as your Contact email on your previous Profile.
Open the Education and Outreach Portal in your browser, then follow the information in this guide.

If you are returning to the new Portal after your initial sign in, the process will be a bit different. You may see different pages depending on what you completed, or did not complete, on your initial visit. This will also be the process for subsequent visits.

New Portal Users
If you are signing up for an Education & Outreach program for the first time, you will need to follow this guide once you have opened the Education & Outreach portal.
Please note, you will need a functioning email address and mobile phone or mobile device to complete this process.
