We use Cisco Webex to conduct live link-ups of 45-minutes duration with Q&A time allocated for students to ask questions about the voyage and the research taking place. Depending on demand, there may be multiple classes/schools online in the same video conference call, or just your class.
How can my class join a live link-up?
When you register your class, you will receive an email invitation with instructions on how to join a Cisco Webex meeting from a desktop or video conferencing room. Webex is a conferencing system that provides participants with audio, video and screen sharing capabilities.
It is recommended that teachers confirm with their school’s IT support staff that the URL meeting link https://csiro.webex.com/ is permissible to access via the school’s network.
