Meet our Board members

Our Board is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the organisation.

The Board includes the Chief Executive, who is appointed by the Board. Non-Executive Board members are appointed by the Governor-General. Under the SIR Act, the Board’s primary functions are to ensure the proper and efficient performance of the functions of CSIRO; determine the policy of CSIRO with respect to any matter; and give directions to the Chief Executive.
