About the placement

Novecom, a leader in environmental monitoring and smart data solutions, is seeking an intern to explore market opportunities for its cutting-edge Internet of Things (IoT) products. This project will involve researching industry trends, identifying customer segments, and benchmarking competitors in sectors such as mining, agriculture, and infrastructure.
Work arrangements
- Start date: ASAP.
- Working arrangement: Part-time for 200 hours.
- Remuneration: $31.25 + super on a casual contract with Emergent Group.
- Location: Mayfield West, Newcastle, NSW (some remote work may be accommodated).
Desired capabilities
- STEM studies that may include science communication and business subjects.
- Strong analytical skills curiosity about IoT, engineering and environmental sensing.
- A knack for turning data into insights.
- High level problem solving and communication skills.
- Good listener.
Requirements
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- Must be in your penultimate or final year of an undergraduate qualification.
