About the placement

This internship is with Arcanite Research and is facilitated by the CSIRO’s Generation STEM Links program.

As an intern at Arcanite Research, you will contribute to a cutting-edge project that combines immersive technology with advanced artificial intelligence. Your work will support the development of a Large Language Model (LLM)-based task recommendation system, as well as a Virtual Reality (VR) experience for real estate showcases. These two components are part of a broader integrated platform aimed at transforming how users interact with digital environments and information.

The VR component will involve designing immersive environments that allow prospective buyers to explore properties virtually, while receiving personalised, real-time suggestions powered by AI. Meanwhile, the LLM-based system will analyse historical work logbooks to understand how tasks are completed sequentially within the company, enabling intelligent task recommendations and workflow optimisation.

Tasks may vary throughout the placement, offering exposure to both the AI-driven recommendation system and the immersive VR experience—giving you a chance to build skills across multiple high-impact technologies.

This is a unique opportunity for a technology enthusiast to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of artificial intelligence, immersive media, and smart workflow automation.
