About the program

The STEM-INSIGHTS Network connects STEM education allies across Australia and creates a space to share knowledge, test ideas, and co-develop tools that support better STEM education outcomes.

It is a cross-sector collaboration that brings together providers, funders, and policymakers to share, create, and test evidenced-based tools, frameworks and strategies to measure and improve student engagement with STEM.

It aims to:

  • build a shared understanding by collating and adding to evidence, theory, and expertise
  • unlock siloes of knowledge and strengthen connections and capability in the ecosystem through collaboration and sharing diverse viewpoints
  • develop and share tools, frameworks, and approaches to describe and measure impact
  • apply best practices to test and refine these tools
  • use shared approaches to reduce duplication in the sector, optimising impact and resources.
