About this event
Each year, 90 billion tonnes of primary materials are extracted and used globally for plastics, with only nine per cent recycled. This is unsustainable and has significant impacts on human health and the environment.
This small-group, online workshop showcases CSIRO's Ending Plastic Waste mission as an opportunity to spark curiosity in your students.
It provides resources to bring real world science into the classroom and encourage inquiry learning and innovation. You can explore cross-curriculum learning activities (including non-STEM subjects) and gain access to curriculum-aligned resources to help implement these ideas in your classroom.
