The General Capabilities provide a platform to support students to develop 21st century skills to thrive in the future…but how do we, as teachers, build these capabilities into our teaching?

In this session, we will explore practical strategies for building and strengthening the general capabilities of your students. We will walk through examples of learning experiences that are rich in tips and tricks to embed the capabilities in your classroom straight away.

About our guest speaker

Amy Dennis is passionate about supporting learners to become good humans, first. She is a Lecturer in Enabling Education at Charles Sturt University and has had previous experience as a high school science teacher. She also has experience supporting teachers through STEM professional development workshops and mentoring programs.
